HEAVY DUTY FORK EXTENSIONS - LTFEX RANGE
IMPORTANT
Fork arm extensions are intended to be fully engaged with the load, i.e. the load should be against the fork shank. Fork arm extensions are not designed to be tip loaded, and at least 50% of the load should always be supported by the parent fork arm.
Fork arm extensions intended for fork arm blade lengths ≥ 750 mm manufactured in accordance with ISO 13284 allow an overhang (increase in length) of 66.7%, i.e. at least 60% of the fork extension shall be supported by the parent fork arm.
For example, fork arms 1200 mm long can be increased by a maximum of 800 mm, to 2000 mm, using ISO 13284 fork extensions.

Ideal for safe and stable handling of loads which are longer than the forklift forks, our fork extensions offer long reach and stabilising capabilities, whilst retaining the manoeuvrability of the lift truck for conventional operating.
Manufactured from heavy duty 5mm thick steel with additional 8mm thick internal strengthening plates, all our fork extensions incorporate a fully rounded toe, with heavy duty capping, for easy entry into and out of loads or pallets.
A removable heel pin allows for drive in entry, negating the need for manual lifting (in compliance with Health & Safety manual lifting regulations), whilst ensuring the fork extensions are safely secured to the truck forks.
For safety reasons, the fork extensions encompass a rear strap 'closed base' design, in keeping with BS EN recommended standards
Manufactured to conform to ISO 13284 British Standards, our forklift extensions offer the perfect solution to long load stability handling and like all our forklift attachments, will come fully tested and certified to comply with the latest Health & Safety Regulations

What is the maximum length of fork extensions I can have based on a 1200mm long fork?
In this instance the longest fork extension you can have would be 1800mm, which would be 50% longer than the forks. This same percentage would apply whatever the fork length
